Please retain your receipt in order to ensure that our “no hassle return policy” applies to your purchase. Our ultimate goal is for your complete satisfaction.
RETURNS WITHIN 30 DAYS WITH RECEIPT FROM THIS STORE:
· Purchases with credit card or debit card will be refunded to the card.
· Purchases with cash will be refunded with cash.
· Purchases with check that has been cleared the 14 business day clearing period will be refunded with cash.
· Purchases with gift card or Merchandise Return Card will be refunded on a Merchandise Return Card.
RETURNS WITH RECEIPT WITHIN 31-90 DAYS OF PURCHASE FROM THE STORE:
· A Merchandise Return Card will be issued purchase price or the current price, whichever is lower.
RETURNS WITH RECEIPT PURCHASED FROM ANOTHER STORE:
· Since all Ace stores carry different items in order to satisfy their “neighborhood”, we may not carry every item you may want to return. It will be up to management to decide if a return will be honored.
· If return is granted no cash will be given. Return will be in the form of an Ace Hardware gift card.
RETURNS WITHOUT A SALES RECEIPT:
· If you are an “Ace Rewards” member and made your purchase within the 90 days we may be able to obtain a receipt for you. If so, the terms under: returns above with receipt would apply.
· If we are not able to locate your receipt it will be up to the manager’s discretion as to whether to issue a Merchandise Return Card for the lowest sale price for that item. A valid driver’s license is required in order to issue a Merchandise Return Card for the lowest sale price for that item. In some cases, there could be a 3 day wait period before issuing a Merchandise Return Card in order to insure validity of the return receipt. All returns are subject to investigation and if deemed invalid, the Merchandise Return Card will be voided.
SUNGLASSES RETURN POLICY:
· Within 14 days of purchase unworn sunglasses may be exchanged or returned with a receipt provided the original tags are on the glasses and they are in saleable condition.
*NON-ELIGIBLE ITEMS FOR RETURN INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Items purchased over 90 days ago
· Items not in original package or original condition
· Items flagged non-returnable on sales receipt
· Special order items
· Filled propane cylinders
· Custom cut merchandise
· Gift cards and Merchandise Return Cards
· Items that the manufacturer requires to be sent back to them or returned to a service center.
· Gas powered equipment
· Paint that has been tinted
· “Hurricane/Storm Related Items” that are purchased during the period of June 1-November 30. To ensure that we can be your reliable source of disaster items during these dates we cannot accept returns on this category of items. It is the sole discretion of management to define whether the item falls into this category. If you are unsure please ask the manager before purchasing.
· Closeout merchandise
· Jewelry, footwear, clothing, or any other merchandise that has been worn.
· Personalized merchandise
